MIT PFC

The PFC provides plants with a controlled disease-free and pest-free environment during the growing phase. Additionally, PFC harvests are not subjected to the nutrient draining processes utilized to store and ship food. These are just two ways that the PFC enables plants to achieve their true expression and yield food at its peak freshness, texture, color, and nutritional value.

For more information, view Caleb Harper’s TED Talk on how the PFC not only helps us learn the nutritional language of plants, but also targets higher aspirations such as diminishing global hunger.
